Overview
Between 2015 and 2017, KSE delivered the complete mechanical package for the Notre Dame University campus extension in Barsa, Koura — per the main contractor’s letter, three blocks comprising two basements, a ground floor and three upper floors, on a total built-up area of 18,335 m².
KSE scope
All mechanical services — the full scope, HVAC and plumbing included, across all three blocks.
Project ecosystem
Main contractor: Confirm SAL · Consultant: Kamal Sioufi office · KSE role: mechanical contractor — full scope.
The challenge
An occupied university campus, a multi-block program, and a full mechanical scope under consultant supervision — coordination across every system, from plant to terminal units, with an academic calendar in the background.
Delivery
Both sides of the delivery chain put their assessment in writing. The consultant: works executed “in good quality standards” with “professionalism and positive cooperation.” The main contractor: works executed “to our full satisfaction” with “a high level of professionalism, business ethics and seriousness.”
Why it matters
Full-scope institutional work certified by both the contractor above and the consultant beside — the two references that matter most in prequalification.
“Messrs. KSE sarl have executed these works to our full satisfaction and demonstrated a high level of professionalism, business ethics and seriousness throughout the projects.”Confirm Contracting — Chairman & General Manager, 2017
